Could those of you who go to the anual meeting or call the company ask 3dfx what they are doing to ensure they will not be production limited.

Not quite. More often than not, only one side of the block trades is a single entity and the other side is scattered. This means that Big Money is asking their investment banker to buy/sell them a big block of stocks often at a price above/below the market to ensure their position. The investment banker (read MM) sells the block sometimes without having it in the first place. They build it from much smaller trades. Anyway, the idea is that one big buyer/seller is considered to be a lot smarter than lots of small holders.
