The door was open when he backed up. The door now remains permanently open. We don't know what he was thinking. High drama is all in the eye of the beholder. You should know that after three years of me-the woman for whom a cat with a furball under the dining room table is high drama. Dead things under the bed are the stuff of a Stephen King novel. Allergy attacks are near death experiences. And I happen to know that you have plenty of it in your own life.
