I have a few questions for all of the knowledgeable SI folks. What are the core differences between Lucent and Cisco? Would it be correct to say that Cisco is more backbone, and Lucent is more user oriented? If not, then please help me out. I understand that cisco makes the routers that connect all of the internet, but who purchases those routers? ISPs? Telecom companies? Government? Would ATT purchase a Cisco router? Thanks. tru.
