KalKan - Re : "AMD is capacity constrained. Intel should stop cutting prices and let AMD sell everything they make, while building a huge cash reserve. "

Are you afraid of losing MORE MONEY on your AMD investment ?

Get used to it.

AMD is $30 BELOW its 1984 high - that is 1 -9 -8 -4 which was 15 years ago.

Do you know WHY AMD is $30 below their high from 15 years ago?

I'll tell you.

AMD LOSES MONEY !

That's why.

Paul

kapkan4 - <AMD is capacity constrained. Intel should stop cutting prices and let AMD sell everything they make, while building a huge cash reserve. It should use the cash to go after Cisco's proprietary IP business in partnership with Microsoft. Wintel made computers a commodity while making billions. They should do the same to networking.>

What in the heck does one thing have to do with the other here? I totally fail to see how giving AMD marketshare will propel Intel into a dominant market player in the Network space(?). I agree with the latter, don't see what in the heck it has to do with the former. Two totally different businesses.
