Hi Henry,

E3 Shao Lin-related question for you. Did you (or anyone else who went to E3) get a chance to see Activision's Wu-Tang fighting game? I've actually heard a ton of good things about it, and its four-player fighting is supposed to be awesome since it actually uses the Thrill Kill engine (which is said to be quite impressive). Anyway, if you did, how did Wu Tang compare to Shao Lin?

To be honest, as a gamer, I'm really excited about getting a good 4-player fighter for the PSX -- but right now, Wu Tang seems to have the upper hand over Shao Lin. From what I'm reading, the sentiment in the gaming industry is that Wu Tang is THE four-player fighter we've all been waiting for; and Shao Lin is a so-so game that's been delayed repeatedly. For example, psx.ign.com gave out various best-of-show awards for Playstation games, and Wu Tang got best-fighting-game; Shao Lin didn't even get a runner-up. Did you see anything at E3 that might (hopefully) refute that sentiment?

Harry

PS One thing in Shao Lin's favor is that Shao Lin is slated for this July; Wu Tang is listed as a fall release.

The only good thing about WuTang is that it means THQ will finally release Shao Lin. We need to beat it to market now.
