This is really sad. The first sentence in the aforementioned Forbes article is, "GEORGE RATHMAN IS THE Bill Gates of biotechnology."

Hey kids, can you say, "H-Y-B-E-R-B-O-L-E"

I have been rebuked on this message board for suggesting that the only reason this stock has run-up is because Bill Gates owns 11% of it. "Nothing of the kind", I've been told. "Sure they have no sales, no products. Won't have any of that for two years - don't need it. We have George Rathman. He's what makes the difference between this and other biotechs - professional, experienced and credible".

Well folks, he may be all that, but he's one other thing - HE'S 71 YEARS OLD!! And worse than that, he's the legendary "Bill Gates of Biotech"!!!!

Has it ever occurred to anybody what happens to the price of a stock when a legend drops dead. Does anybody in their right mind buy a stock contingent on the health of a single individual.

I want to make it very clear that I'm not wishing ill upon this man. But I think it's time for some of you to re-examine your reasons for investing in ICOS. Whether your willing to admit it or not most of you have invested in the hype not the reality.
