Mqurice et al: Forbes May 31 issue has a lengthy story about boomtowns USA and features San Diego with favorable treatment of both Qualcomm and Irwin Jacobs. A brief excerpt, "...Jacobs, who says selling Linkabit was 'not the right experience,' vows he's got plenty left to do here, including using his Web browser unit, Eudora, to pave the way to a wireless 'network' computer-in-phone." Article includes photos of Jacobs, some staff and the "K" building. BTW Karl Strauss was an authentic Milwaukee brewmaster, Pabst if memory serves me, who in retirement hung his name on the San Diego brewpub.
