Allied Domecq <ALLD.L> is (just perhaps) breaking up holdings - now in process of selling all pubs (3600 in England), and has been some talk of takeover then spin off of holdings most interesting holding (from my brk owner's perspective) is dunkin donuts ... perhaps that is why we are in the game. dunkin donuts at first glance is a very very attractive holding - might be a very nice operating company within BRK. also alld.l is owner of baskin robbins (do not know much about them at all.) regards
