WSJ Article -- Somewhat short-sighted article to focus on such a short-term royalty situation as with as Korea. Journal did not focus on year 2000 earnings estimates or future quarters' developments. The shelf-life of the article as far as insight will be a distant memory once June 1999 quarter results are posted and year 2000 earnings estimates are increased towards $3.50 (post-split). I did note that the Journal did not get any negative comments by investors -- quite unheard of in Heard on the Street Columns where the author tends to get both positive and negative feedback from analysts and investors. Guess that the author found no one who had any negative comments.

Today may be a real opportunity to buy a few more shares if QCOM dips. Love to see a dip below $100 -- doubt we will, though.
