how one accumulates without buying: 1) one sidles up shyly like a child from another country...gazes with enraptured envy at the delicious shares piled up on the table...sneaks out a hand when nobody's looking...and...grabs! steals! buys blocks on the sly, disguised! 2) one may be "buying" but it doesn't count...like an infidelity to the wife, "honey it meant nothing." 3) one buys the same amount, but without enthusiasm. Just duty, obligation, etc, no joy in the thing
