Loral is a major shareholder of Globalstar (GSTRF). QCOM also has a big stake. Used to follow GSTRF. They're in the process of deploying a low earth orbit satelite communications systems. I believe they've got more than 30 satelites deployed now, but am not positive on the figure. One of reasons Iridium has taken such a big hit is they're cost of service. Globalstar service will cost less, and be able to make a profit sooner on more efficient infrastructure costs.
