I just think USW could have looked around a bit more. In addition, between now and November 2000 we have the noise of a presidential campaign which I think will make it very hard for these guys to get anywhere at all with the FCC regulators on the long distance question. I am also NOT a fan of tracking stocks. Besides that the new company may have a really great future. I sold my USW just before merger was announced and may buy back in if it gets cheap enough again.
