mm's are manipulating dell There's a lot of manipulation going on. The analysts got out of a meeting with ORCL a couple days ago and said Oracle was going to preannounce, I sold my shares to protect profits, and to my amazement the institutions started buying heavily, the price is up 10%, and no announcement. There ought to be law against it! TP

There are over 60 different firms making a market in DELL, and to think that all of these market makers are colluding exhibits a lack of knowledge about the Nasdaq market. Two of the top 10 market makers in DELL are also electronic market makers, meaning that 100% of that volume is customer driven, not market maker driven. Additionally, the #1 market maker, Mayer & Schweitzer, spends almost all of its time filling electronic orders for Schwab, also 100% customer orders. Market maker manipulation occurs, yes, but you need to look away from active stocks like DELL in order to find it.
