El: If $39 is your target for 1999 why are you holding/buying COMPAQ? Why don't you come clean and admit it - you are expecting at least $55.

it may be dreaming but how long did it take to go from 10,000 to 11,000 on the dow? If CPQ manages a n upbeat next quarter report and their CEO selection meets the street expectations. who can tell what the reaction from investors will be. When I bought GE 5 years ago at a split adjusted 23 I never thought that it would be a 4 1/2 bagger in five years.

Good luck to the CPQ longs.
