Wednesday May 19, 2:49 pm Eastern Time American Eco Corp names new CFO HOUSTON, May 19 (Reuters) - American Eco Corp. on Wednesday said Michael Appling will serve as president and chief financial officer, effective June 1. American Eco, which provides support and services to the energy, power generation and pulp and paper industries, said last December that Chief Financial Officer Mitch Posner would remain through the end of the fiscal year-end audit and then concentrate on other business interests. The company said Posner will continue to work with American Eco on potential acquisitions. American Eco shares rose 3/32 to 2-13/16 on the Nasdaq, below their one-year high of 8 but above their one-year low of 1-1/4.
