Rob, I posted this strategy elsewhere, but maybe you are
interested as well.

In the time of downturn, it doesn't mean we shold not make money
as well. I think now is the perfect time to buy some put
options to protect our positions. Buy deep out of money June
put which should cost no more than 4. This way, if Fed really
raises rate today, or people really want to push the Inet sector
lower, the put you purchase here will help you a lot.

This is a way of buying some insurance, especially after having
a great gain, like our cases.

One more benefit of this strategy is that you don't have to
sell your long stock positions (in order to buy back cheaper),
and thus you could enjoy the capital gain tax benefit.

I think all the shorts have jumped ship here. Maybe even the last of them, Tom H??

Rob, not a chance. I usually post here in the evening. Stay tuned.

Regards,

Tom

PCLN--i am a trader, robert...i can't afford to post on message boards during the day...i wish i could be an investor like you, but my intellect will not allow me to trust my funds to the greater fool theory of investing,,,

when all the fools have lost their money<because they bought all the dips and then held on to the bitter end>, then i will be an investor again...

you and the other longs are courageous souls to trust your funds so blithely to a group of stocks whose fundamentals do not equal their current valuations...not even close...

it is so much easier to just trade these tulips...at these incredibly lofty levels, the danger is palpable, and i see fewer fools out there to complete the other end of the greater fool theory,,,...we are nearing some very slow times for all the net stocks...good luck and i hope your basket returns to its previous valuation...

i mean these kind words sincerely, because if your basket goes up, then that means i get to borrow and sell shares at even more advantageous prices...

covered this am at 131...will reshort on the gap tomorrow...gotta be nimble in the land of tulips...

good luck to all,
