Does anyone know when the GAC/GD deal close? >> I would much rather have not seen the purchase of Gulfstream because not only is General Dynamics just another airline company, its stock will only do as well as another airline company. << I also, am no sure I like the takeover. However, GD is a defense contractor not an airline co. It is possible GD will get a boost from the Kosovo war since they build the tomahawk missle and other missles. I whole heartedly agree that GAC is an excellent co with an excellent product. While I haven't done any DD on GD, I doubt they are a better stock to own than GAC. --DVS-- Edit: GD also builds submarines. and was a bidder on the Newport-News ship building plant/docks.
