Do you know when the studies end?

Good question. I have forwarded that question to Dr. Greeson, but since she and the good Dr. Sapse are in Europe right now talking to individual and institutional investors, she might not be able to respond soon. The Romanian trials should be almost over. They started in October of last year and end in 8 to 10 months (May to July). I would think that successful Romanian trials would allow production and sale of the drug in a number of countries. Keep in mind that STGI does not have production facilities at the moment.

Interestingly enough, the 4/29 news release mentions that STGI was going to be in Europe talking to a pharmaceutical company. IMO, that indicates one of two things. Either STGI believes that the Romanian trials will be successful and is gearing up for production or they believe that Romanian trials will be successful and are thinking about selling the drug to a larger pharmaceutical company. In either case we are probably looking at some hefty stock movement in the short term.

According to STGI, trading in Berlin starts this week. Best I can tell it is already on the Berlin exchange and has been for weeks, but I may be reading that incorrectly. We definitely haven't seen any effect from it, so maybe the trading does start this week. One would think that there is some interest in STGI in Berlin. Why else would they go through the trouble of carrying a second exchange?

Jim

I just got this from Dr. Greeson.

Romanian Trials: Sept 1999 at the earliest.
US Trials: March 2000 at the earliest.
Canadian Trials: probably May 2000.
