Of course they can!!!

In fact I predict that they will be selling 0.18 micron Celerons at 500Mhz speeds in the $50 range this time next year.

If all they sell is such devices at $70 then their stock price will suffer etc. However the high end of the server market is growing at 30-50% on a unit basis. This allows them even more opportunity to kill off the low end.

I predict only AMD can compete and prosper with this type of pricing and that folks like Rise,NSM, IDTI, Transmeta etc will be gone this time next year.
