to gary this makes you question his abilities, when he doesn't have the knowledge of this simple rule. unless there is a cash dividend being paid the ex - dividend is the only date that matters.and TAP has no business promoting any stock if he doesn't know this basic rule... tnrg is a good stock that is mismanaged. in for the long haul.. chasmd

Tilton has a lot on his plate right now and you expect him to be an SEC expert as well. How would you like it if every time you made an "honest" mistake your boss would say, "My confidence in him has faltered." And don't forget that the SEC rules were misleading too. So what has happened here. We are not going to get our TIPS dividend when we thought we would. On the other hand, nothing has changed fundamentally with TNRG. No great disaster has occurred, IMHO. So I'm still long and strong. Go TNRG. Respectfully, SB
