ot ot..Kansas City Blues were Yankee's farm team. then Philadelphia A's moved to Kc and they still were a Yankees farm team, trading among others Roger Maris to the Yankees and Suitcase Simpson. I thought I was the only one to remember Gus Zernial. He was my hero. Do you remember Elmer Valo, Victor Pelo Power, Joe DeMaestri, Hector Lopez, also to the Yankees, Johnny Sain, Harry Chilti, and the amazing Ryne Duren!! blind as a bat and fast as Bob Feller, also a drunk. jhg in kc
