Mohan, >>buck will tank.

We saw it take on a little water today. I am looking for a foreign country to dump some of my cash. Got any ideas? EWK with a 20% return not to bad. The return is keeping ahead of the last downturn. <ggg> I do have a fair chunk of change in Australia, Asia and India, but willing to dump more over there is I have a fair probability of capital/yield appreciation. It could get tough at home and may need to use the butterfly's.

At 1PM it would appear that there may be another scenario at work

Dollar is up
Bonds are up
Market is heading down

Is this a flight to quality? How does this play out? Will it intersect one of your other scenarios?

TIA

Brom

Gold closed more or less flat for the day after reversing from day's lows. XAU staged a dramatic reversal late in the day. Stocks are more or less flat for the day. Bonds surprised with a rally. LB Yield is down about 10 bps.
