oh that's fascinating..a lot of these banks and brokers are holding nothing but off-balance-sheet derivative products and nobody knows what they're worth. Ick.
Be careful with money-market accounts- I looked at schwab's mm and it's loaded with swaps and weird stuff.

Well let's hope that the banks will have some back up records.
Third party vendors and embedded chips will likely be the biggest problems in this country, but those two items can cause things to really multiply.

Since we have a highly interactive global economy, this can be the bad additional stumble that can bring the world into a darker economic place. -ng-
