I think we've already heard from the CEO Shaw on the subject. I believe he referred to it as the "ugly period". Call it chaos, ugly, integration challenges, issues, opportunities......call it whatever you want to call it, but let's be honest here, you can't buy 40 web shops of different sizes, cultures, and business approaches and wave a magic wand to make it all act as a single unit.

Protests from the graphics department notwithstanding, let's assume that Shaw is accurately describing the situation. Shaw is doing a smart thing by being honest about it. What that does is buys him credibility and time with the analysts. His straightforward approach will give him the benefit of the doubt in the analyst community, something that wouldn't happen if he tried to bullshit them. As far as I am concerned, this guy is the wildcard on whether this company can acheive it's goals - I have a gut feeling not to bet against him, even though I think the industry and business model stinks from a long term investors view.
