I don't want to pile on either but just because blood cultures come back neg is NOT proof of anything except you might have failed to find the offending agent or agent's hiding places! GIVE ME A BREAK! Perhaps you have heard of lymph nodes and their system? Can you think of any other places where offending agents might hide? No way in this world do I think the cascade is in perpetual motion and feeds on itself, in my opinion NO WAY!

Cacaito, i am doing dd on stock and am not familiar with biotechnology. i get the following from your posts - that xoma meningo...trials most likely have not impacted mortality. is this a correct interpretation? in simple terms is there anything else to add? are you bullish or bearish about current meningo... trials? are you bullish or bearish about xoma stock?
