AMENDMENT FOR TRIGGER LOCKS PASSED 70-28 (16:35 EST)

Want to talk about publicity - look in AOL News - it appears our friend Trent Lott is having a little catfight, in his own juvenile way, with the Democrats about amendments and timing for the bill. The Republicans wanted to be done by 5:00 today, the Democrats want more amendments - dozens wait to be discussed. I hope we'll see some better coverage and hear an agreement by morning. Long LOCK - hoping tomorrow will be a GREAT day!

Oh, Gator. By the way, the first one to the market gets the bigger piece of the market share at the start. Manufacturers may make their own, but that won't happen overnight. Also, there may be cheaper gun locks out there but LOCK will trade at a premium because it is the only publicly traded company focusing on the manufacture of gun locks. You refer to 600 locks as last years sales... new clients et al. are driving that up quickly. Also, the revenues in last years reports were well over $1,500,000 US (deeming more than 600 locks produced, more like 16,000 or so, possibly). We're standing on the edge of a new requirement. The NRA may find loopholes, but that's not the issue. We have the requirement in the bill - now sit back and watch it pass.

Gator,

Watch what the law of supply and demand does. The stock is not the company. The stock is not sales. The stock is not PE ratios...etc. The stock is supply and demand. Since Columbine there has been very little supply. Now that the media is referring to gun locks as safety locks and the senate vote is one of the top 5 national news items so far this week...demand is very much in the driver's seat. If this thing doesn't go ballistic on the senate vote, it's a dog...forever. BUT...my area of expertise is technical analysis and the conclusion I came to over the weekend is that this thing is ready to run...hard.
