Anything that Amazon does to increase its losses is good for the stock. It's the same strategy used over and over again by the Cubs. The more games they throw in the last inning, the more faithful are the fans. I think the company should apply for nonprofit status as a charitable organization so that when we send them money for books, at least part of it would be tax-deductible. They are already more of a public service organization than many charitable foundations.
