Sir Francis Drake,
The only short-term problem I see is the situation with the temps and stock options. I don't know what the resolution will be, but it could run into some very big dollars. Normally, this would be of no concern because it would be a one-time hit on earnings. What concerns me more is the potential to diminish some of MSFT's large cash position, which they have been using to such great advantage of late in broadband.

Everything else I see looks extremely positive, with the exception of rates. The world is pulling out of a slump, PC prices are coming down, stimulating demand, broadband is expanding, the web is going gangbusters, and MSFT is postioned to take advantage of all these events.
