Even though I'm new to SI and as a LONE shareholder, I have bothered to do my homework on LONE, in part, by reading through the entire thread. There was a fellow named Jeff Bond who posted on this thread up until a year ago who was involved in a minor discussion about this very topic once it became clear (in late 1997) that NAAC had resorted to reg. S financing. If memory serves, in one of his posts he mentioned another company he had been a shareholder of whose CEO made a public request to all its virtuous shareholders to request certs. for their shares for this very reason. Bond strongly implies that this action did indeed help their cause. The then NAAC shareholders never did get together in a concerted effort to protect themselves in this way. Maybe I or someone else could send a private message to Jeff Bond and ask him if my remembrances are correct and, if so, what he knows about this issue. Also, this is a question that should be put to Brent, as Jayne Davis is won't to say.

GlenRp. First, if you called your certs, they would have to be fulfilled.

as for Mms and TK. I dont see them in bed. I see the MMs allowing anyone to short at the current bid. As for re-entry to cover a short position, i see them getting robbed on the ask.

good luck
