This is, and will be, no competition for Zicam. I am familiar with this product. It is not new. I will explain it, give a reference and tell you why it is more expensive, will require a prescription and why the research is not as good as the Zicam study. I am not going to trash the product, but I think you will agree after looking at the facts that JAMA has overhyped this prematurely and in the long run, it will NOT be a competitor for Zicam. This actually opens the door for the medical community to hear about nasal remedies, so it may even be a long run advantage for Zicam. My daughter goes to sleep in 90 minutes and I have not seen her all day, so I will start then. Expect to see my post by 10 PDT.
