Do not despair fellow sufferers. Think SUD. SUD drilled in ONtario
for diamonds. Hit gold. Stock went from pennies to 20.00. Went back
down again after awhile but by that time some people had made a
fortune. So, that mineralization could turn out to a boon. Unless,
of course, MMU executive are the type that said, "Nope, we're
drilling for diamonds. We're not drilling for base metals. Don't
confuse us.Don't screw up our self-image."

Think SUD. Think 20.00 a share. Think warm sand beaches, palm trees,
cold rum drinks. All together now, "Oooommmm."

George:

q1: Not sure which stock. I didn't have time to check what actually transpired on either. My post reflects what sometimes goes through my mind these days when I'm not in a stock, but have been watching, and then see some interesting news.

q2: Thinly traded stock can change price quickly, even on a couple of thousand shares traded. I would watch the ticker and SI more during the day if I wasn't worried about my boss seeing what I was up to, instead of doing what I am paid to do. You see all these guys at work with headphones plugged into the computer CD drive so that they can listen to music while working. Someone should invent something that will let you view the web on the inside of your eyeglasses, while the big monitor shows nothing but work related stuff ;o)
