NR Group West Systems Ltd GPW Shares issued 6,210,229 1999-05-19 close $1.71 Thursday May 20 1999 Mr. Jag Sandhu reports Group West Systems has entered into an agreement with Acceleron Solutions Inc. of Toronto to work together to market and support Lotus Notes and Domino on IBM mid-range platforms. These products allow easy creation of secure, interactive electronic commerce solutions for the Internet, corporate intranets and extranets. Lotus Development Corporation is a subsidiary of IBM. This strategic partnership will contain the electronic commerce experience coupled with in-depth understanding of the tools and mid-range platforms necessary to develop and implement comprehensive e-business solutions. Both companies regard Lotus Notes and Domino on the IBM mid-range platform and the partnership as significant market opportunities. Group West expects the benefits to carry over into the electronic commerce initiatives the company has under way. Lotus Notes and Domino will be added to the tools and development environment used by Group West to develop client electronic commerce prototype and production systems. Bill Ste.
