Here are some relevant Spike sublinks that I emailed to Bernard last week: (notable that Spike DOES in fact employ both sectorization AND cellularization, but since their strength is in sectorized radios- offering up to 22 sectors with striated reuse - this is clearly a cost optimal solution achieved using Spike PRIZM. Cellularization is obviously more capital intensive. Great explanation of MMDS and wireless in general. IMO, Tim and anyone, read through these links and you'll be as knowledgeable as most reading here.)

Probably, in part, some of the motivation for buying Skytel.

WCOM just picked up a nationwide footprint of high, centrally-located transmitter sites as well a a network of receive only locations (constructed for the two-way service).
