MikeM, The first thing I need to remind you is that I'm not a techie, so bear with me as I feebly (at best) try to discuss this with you. Unlike you, I didn't infer from the article that using Java and MetaFrame are comparable. Instead, I inferred that a web-based and/or Java-based solution makes it possible to use a client-server solution without using Citrix product (though it also mentioned the immense limitations of doing so that explain why it's rarely done.) --Mike Buckley
