BTW - our wonderful stock portfolio now includes Dunkin' Donuts.
Buffet bought 2.5% of the British parent.
I'm less than impressed.


No me .. I only hope that the parent is breaking up (being bought out) and we can get the dunkin donuts portion -- it is a peter lynch dream holding .. successful franchise with only portion of the country covered.

also I think the worst is over .. the "hidden" loses* that came with GenRe are all paid up and we still have the float.

* the GenRe losses cost us our earnings for several quarters now and that is what has kept the stock down. but again, that is over
