Well, I still remember holding my beloved Tips in my arms as he died after being hit by a car. The only one of my cats to ever suffer that fate, and the only male I did not have altered. I still feel horrible. He was chasing another cat, female or male, across the street, and a neighbor hit him. That's what happens to unaltered toms, unless you live out in the country.
