and if you work for the majority of fortune 500 companies who are limiting vendor base and initiating first tier purchasing, you cannot stray beyond what the corporate structure dictates and randomly purchase from any web site/vendor that you choose.....again, "thrifty" as in saving a few bucks on a purchase is naught to the average $250-$500 per purchase order costs...in fact the federal government purchasing regs state that in order to split an award between bidders a minimum $500 must be saved...believe what you want!!!! penny wise, pound foolish...
