AAHS---just received a TA alert w/ recent news: MINNEAPOLIS, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Children's Broadcasting (Nasdaq: AAHS) announced today that net income for its quarter ended March 31, 1999 was $11.5 million or $1.76 per common share, compared to a net loss last year of $3.7 million or $0.55 per common share. This year's first quarter results reflect a gain on the sale of the Company's final radio stations to Radio Unica of $16.5 million or $2.55 per share, as well as a partial month's operating results from Chelsea Pictures, which the Company acquired in March 1999. Revenues for the quarter increased to $1,231,000 from $836,000 a year ago.
