Fred, 1. - there are other thread where trading piss matches can occur - pleez don't start one on this one.
P.S. would you guys be kind enough to post some of these short/put positions that allow you to have %50 YTD return while every short/put position that you actually post crashes?? (when the position is taken not after the fact!!!)
2. - Depending on luck and timing 50% return on options isn't unusual,
(nor is a -50% return). Whether calls are easier than puts in general, good question. Generally the rise in stock prices should be favorable to profits in calls but the tendency for slow rises and quick drops may make up for the bias via the lower cost basis of the puts.

Greg

There is a (the) prominent member of this board posting all picks specifically, and they're doing quite well. As you said in your previous post, this is a "game" for you. Run along, little boy.

Please: only the IRS cares about your profits. I hope you are reporting them diligently and helping work off the budget deficit. That said, I have posted my position on Dell both here and the Dell thread several times -- from around 100 pre-split, up to 110, and down. I have a five-year bet going with several Dell threadsters on EPS growth (not more than 25%/yr, says me); care to join in? -mb

Fred keep on buying DELL if it works for you. If you dont belive my returns then don't.
As far as Flack, he is still writing his column and even Gates gave him some money to invest on the short end. What do you make out of that?
