The only way of answering the "more so than not" question is in terms of percentages. I cannot remember the breakdown of women with children overall. The infamous soccer mom's tilted for Clinton, as did women generally, but I am not sure about the broad category of women with children. What I recall is the category of those with families, regardless of sex, going for the Republicans by a strong margin. If I have the patience later in the day, I will see if I can find archived polling data....
