Well it looks like some leaders have the message....it's not just getting on the Net the counts....it's getting on the Net and lowering traditional cost of doing Brick & Mortar Banking by it's downsizing that component in the delivery of services mix.

Now to grow the Internet mix they need to offer a better deal to the consumer ala NetB@nk has, and it's not an OPTION that they do this....they have to. How? I don't know, but I do know they better figure it out really fast.

Those studies show 25% of the US population is going to shift to this channel in 4 years...it doesn't show that a consumer will stop using his Brick & Mortar Branch and use his or her's Bank Web Site creating a de-facto victory for gettin a 'Bank' On Line...it just says consumers are moving to the Net for Banking...Consumer are like water they tend to flow to the place of least resistence...or get the best deal.

Banks have to figure out now how much of this they want and the better the deal the more they will get. To get their they have to trim fixed costs, provide a better product, lower costs of production. Otherwise they are going to get the 1970's version of the Japanise Auto Makers vs. Detroit Motor City Muscle out here in NETLAND. And I learned one thing from that, being Big don't mean you Win, you got to change first to compete. And it hurts like hell, but it you don't you're dead....good luck to them.
