Like your suggestion that ETPI try to merge with an Internet Company. Obviously that would help the stock price because of the buzz associated with anything related to Internet businesses. However, the idea is also intriguing to me for another reason: since one of ETPI's divisions puts on concerts in various venues around the world, why couldn't they leverage that opportunity by licensing the right to either record/videotape those performances for later broadcast over the internet, or else license the right to do a streaming live pweformance. The tie in to the internet company with streaming capability would make this more feasible, and, in the process ETPI would be creating valuable intellectual property assets and also potentially increasing traffic to its website by presenting something that people might want to see, i.e. a musical performance. Just a thought from a desperate long term investor who would like to see the management take a direction that has the potential of increasing the price of the company's shares.

Ken and all,
Still lurking around, haven't really been watching ETPI much lately because I'm not expecting to see good results until the 3rd and 4th qtrs (ending June and September). Don't forget that the 2nd qtr ending March includes expenses for the Waterpark without the benefit of a dime of revenue, and the winter quarters are slow for lakeside restaurants such as RedFish Island Grill. With the waterpark opening this month (I'm assuming they are still on target for Memorial Day) and warm
{...}
Give them another quarter. If we don't see significant improvement for the 3rd qtr, then I think we can all be justified in moving on to hopefully greener pastures.

Disclosure: I have received 10,000 shares of restricted ETPI stock for providing various consulting services to the company.

Am I the only one who finds your position disingenuous? Many want Management's attention and a serious attitude adjustment delivered ASAP. Here you have had a relationship in the past, clearly can try to get them to snap to and if you fail, at least report back that they are now not even talking with you (a/k/a the last days in the bunker syndrome). I have followed your posts with the disclaimers but it does not logically follow (at least to moi) that your including it absolves you of further involvement. Instead of dispassionately listing what they should do, use your involvement to ask some hard questions and report openly on their interactions.

Flame away: a 60% loss creates quite a nice ice buffer.
