The balancing act piece may be out before I leave on a business trip Friday afternoon otherwise early next week.

I have given up on E*Trade's IPO allocation system. There is a window of a few minutes to get on which a bunch of wolves have staked out and start hitting with automated programs as soon as an IPO is announced.

E*Trade should change the system It's a disgrace as it is now.

Internet IPO market is probably close to saturated. Too much crap coming out. Many will trade well below their opening prices later this year - maybe terminally.

Richard, I like DIR, too.

I don't have the capital at DLJ to get in on the IPO, so I will just have to pay on the day of the show.

Waterhouse is spinning off from TD, and that is another quality on-line broker.
