Presently it is hip to buy from Amazon. When the "cool" part wears off, then Amazon has problems from a top line point of view.

Glenn- IMO, most of Amazon's customers are becoming increasingly happy with them; the "cool" part is getting cooler, albeit slowly. I think Amazon will continue to build customer loyalty through the "hip" mixed with generally outstanding customer service.

One small example: Amazon.com answered about four email questions, over the course of a day or two, from my mother during her recent auction of a painting. eBay doesn't even provide an email address for general questions (as far as I can find). eBay has a forum, and it appears that they should answer the submitted question (which doesn't generally appear on the web site either) but they so far have not.
