What do you mean the bottom of the drop? The Short gets last execution in the basket of bids? How does the market maker or person executing the short sale on the Exch. floor know you are short and not just selling a long? Barb where can I find things like the uptick rule, and also simple things like which exchanges do not allow you to short microcaps or new issues etc. all in one nice neat place for a good read or reference?
