Les, that is a good image, "like college football boosters run amok". And you are also right, there is a lot of money put into issues and organization building, which is one reason that campaign finance reform may be futile, unless we are willing to institute speech restrictions that are unconstitutional....

Maybe you should have. Ask some of the peope in Ark. whose friends and relative either were or were to be witnesses in White Water investigation. Many are dead under mysterious circumstances, according to what I have been told by people who live there. Of course, at this point I have no concrete proof.
