From an e mail sent to me: Since I am not a member of silicon investor i cannot post on the board. But you can do me a favor And let people on si know that since dell has 2.4 billion shares outstanding each penny earned is Worth $24 million dollars. Therefore, the future surprise expectation has to be lower compared When dell had shares in millions. It is relatively easy to top estimates when each penny earned for Eps is only $2.4 millions compared to $24 million. Dell is still growing the same as before but it does not Appear to beat estimates because of large number of shares. Thanks, JP Patel Freeus
