FWIW, I am not terribly disturbed by today's action. Sure I was hoping for a gap up and a charge by the momentum traders but IDTC has come a long way already on anticipated news and now that it is out it requires digesting. The AOL conference may shed more light on where the IPO fits in, we don't know the price, earnings to come, and so on. As someone earlier posted, the pattern has been for the parent stock to rise over a period of time prior to the IPO as more quantification is available. I have no problem waiting another month or two as developments unfold. If I thought it was going to be stale money I would rotate as would many others here on the thread but I don't. I still believe that the analysts have not digested the Internet piece and how the sum of the pieces is worth more than 30 bucks a share. All just my opinion and always interested in what others have to say both pro and con. Thanks in advance.

Buy on the rumor, sell on the news. After all, we've seen IDTC go from $18 to over $30 and back down some in 2 or 3 months on speculation. The IPO announcement comes as no surprise. Probably the week before actual IPO the price will get another kick, then post IPO fall way back like ZD after ZDZ. Probably some are disappointed that, unlike MALL, they didn't mention any plans to give shareholders any stock.

MALL is another story. Up $7 today after company states they'll issue shares of UBID to shareholders of record on May 24. Actual spin-off June 7. Still a value, since you'll get .7 shares of UBID for each MALL. UBID's at about $48, so you get about $33 worth of UBID for $37 price of MALL. To me MALL is worth almost that much on their own. Now if IDTC would announce that shareholders would get spin off I might buy some.

There are just too many sellers' (investors?) willing to put there shares on the selling block. I have watched the movement off and on this morning and on average there are just as many shares available to be sold as to those wishing to buy. In some case there are more shares available for sale. Just check the bid/ask sizes from time to time.

Until there is more scarcity in available shares, IDTC will have no reason to move up to any great degree in my opinion.
