Pal, I had good till cancelled stop sell limit orders in for both WCOM and COST last year which were filled only to have the stock rebound in each case. As it turned out I used the proceeds to buy into stocks like SCH and CMGI. As far as the MM's being willing to move the stock price down in order to scoop up the shares it depends on market and company specific conditions. Like you, I now keep a mental picture of each of my stocks and monitor them carefully during the day, (regular job permitting). I no longer place protective good till cancelled stop loss orders as those lists are looked at closely by the MM's daily. Can't really blame them as they are trying to make a living just like we do at our regular jobs. As far as picking up more MSGI I have a limit order to sell my shares of DELL. If that fills I'll be able to buy more MSGI or another stock on my watch list. MSGI is already by largest holding! Congrats on your multiple MSGI purchases!
