OT OT - I'm not one to tout another opportunity but here is one for your consideration and DD: Microvision (MVIS) is developing video displays with technologies from the Univ. of Wshington's Human Interface Lab that are totally unlike anything seen this side of George Lucas' ILM and other venues. The computer display is not on a CRT nor a flat panel nor in a helmet but rather low powered lasers shine the images DIRECTLY ONTO THE RETINA where it becomes vision.

A number of contracts for further development have come from DOD and Boeing and Saab in Europe. Working prototypes have been in existence for a while.

While a high flyer in '97 it dropped considerably but from a low of about $5 in October '98 it is now trading in the over $20 range, up $2 today to $24 3/4. Much of the considerable growth has occurred in recent weeks and another contract was announced just days ago.

Moreover the technologies havve quite a few potential civilian applications, from computer-aided surgery to incredible videogames to high definition video projection systems, aside from computer displays.

Again, do your DD as always. Read about the "glass turret" for battle tanks and other armored vehicles as well as other recent developments (helicopter imaging systems) where this kind of computer-aided vision can be of huge value.
